Libya’s oil fields have resumed activity after being shot down during fightings. “After years of setbacks and false starts, Libya is back in the oil game. A stalemate between the armed forces battling to control the OPEC nation has led to an uneasy truce, and most fields and ports shuttered amid the fighting are operating once again”, notes Bloomberg.
Tensions between Greece and Turkey cool down
Turkey and Greece agreed on talks on Eastern Mediterranean. "Relations reached a low point in early August when the Oruç Reis, a Turkish vessel, was sent to carry out seismic research in what Greece considers its continental shelf, part of Ankara’s wider energy exploration efforts in disputed waters in the Eastern Mediterranean”, writes Politico.
