The Lebanese Oil and Gas Initiative LOGI, with support from the Embassy of the Netherlands, and in collaboration with Samir Kassir Foundation-SKEYES would like to invite you to attend a press conference for the launching of its latest report:

“Transparency and accountability in Lebanon’s Petroleum Sector””

LOGI has recently commissioned the preparation of a study entailing a detailed revision of the current legislations pertaining to the petroleum sector, including those legislations and decrees that are still in draft form. LOGI relied on the support of both international as well as local legal experts to complete this study that includes relevant recommendations meant to increase transparency and accountability in the legislations as well as shed light on the gaps that may lead to corruption in the sector.

"الشفافية والمساءلة في التشريعات اللبنانية للبترول"

 حيث قامت "المبادرة اللبنانية للنفط والغاز" بإعداد دراسة معمقة حول الشفافية والمساءلة في التشريعات اللبنانية الخاصة بقطاع البترول، بما في ذلك مسودات الشتريعات المطروحة للدرس والتصديق من قبل المؤسسات الدستورية. ولقد استعانت المبادرة بخبراء دوليين ومحليين لإتمام هذه الدراسة، والتي تتضمن توصيات هامة من شأنها زيادة عامل الشفافية والمساءلة في التشريعات وتسليط الضوء على الثغرات التي قد يتسلل من خلالها الفساد إلى القطاع.
