After launching a campaign (click here to watch it) advocating for the ratification of the public consultation draft law developed by LOGI, a series of 3 webinars were launched this month to raise more awareness around the needed process to ensure that we have an inclusive and participatory public consultation process 

More than 50 participants belonging to civil society organizations, political groups, as well as individual experts attended these webinars and openly shared their concerns and feedback with lawyer Fatima Karaki who explained the process based on the drafted law. Moreover, LOGI collected all remarks given to improve the draft law. 

Under its project with the National Democratic Institute (NDI), LOGI launched its second call for applicants for the “Youth Activism for Lebanese Accountability” (YALA) program. The program works on supporting the establishment of a group of youth activists from Tripoli district who will be well equipped to strengthen participatory democratic processes. The call for applications is open until the 5th of November.
